I enjoy fishing, swimming, spending time with my grandkids, I have been involved in Speedway racing since I was sixteen both as a driver and team owner. My business acumen has come from being in senior management roles for various groups. This has taken me to roles in PNG, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga and remote Australia, Alice Springs and Thursday Island amongst others. Most of these had some hospitality components including Hotels, restaurants, liquor distribution and manufacture as well as hardware and building supplies. Some of you may remember me from my last role as Trade Manager at Browns MITRE 10 (before semi retiring).
If successful in my bid for becoming a board member of Bribie Island RSL & Citizens Memorial Club, I will use my experience and enthusiasm to support the whole team in looking after you the members.
Cheers Alan.
